These patients may require special equipments include central venous access devices, special feeding devices like gastrostomy, jejunostomy, ventilatory devices, wound and stoma care. Caregivers may be provided with the necessary hands-on training and knowledge to troubleshoot. Paediatric medical transport services can also be arranged.
